As a frequent traveler, I often find myself in need of a convenient transit hotel during my journeys. Green Land Guest House in Pinnawala perfectly fit the bill. With its close proximity to the nearest airport, which is just 57 km away, it was an ideal stopover for me. The ease of getting to and from the airport made my travel experience much smoother and stress-free.
The room I was assigned had a simple layout, but the moskito net on the window was damaged.

We had a comfortable stay at this hip new hotel. The staff was affable, the room was cheap, everything was fine. The property's location was unbeatable very close to the river the elephants bathe. And it was also near to the centre, the temple in Kandy, and sanctuary. The restaurant had delicious food.

The value for money at Green Land Guest House was excellent. The room was fantastic, with a mini kitchen and a private balcony. The location was unbeatable, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from where the elephants bathed. The staff, especially Oshada, were extremely helpful and even went out of their way to find me a charging cable for my iPhone.
The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe with a wider variety of options.

This made my travel arrangements smooth and hassle-free, allowing me to easily reach my destination without any delays. the hotel staff were accommodating and allowed me to check-in late in the evening, ensuring a comfortable stay.
When I woke up in the morning, I was surprised to find that two of the front wheel tyres of my vehicle had no air and were punctured.

Conveniently located near the river, just a short walk through a shopping alley. Had a great breakfast where we were informed about the orphanage elephants bathing. Got to join in washing and feeding the elephants. The room was spacious and we were allowed to use the washing machine. Great value for money.

The rooms were really comfortable with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a seating area to relax after a long day. The private bathroom was clean and had a hot and cold shower, and the balcony offered a nice view. As a guest, I felt relaxed and at home in these rooms.
Personally, I didn't like the presence of a mosquito net in the room. But hey, that's just my opinion, and others might not mind it at all.

Located close to the elephant sanctuary, this hotel offers a prime spot to witness the elephants passing by on their way to the river. The view from the balcony is truly mesmerizing. Additionally, the owner was welcoming and the place was kept clean and tidy, meeting European standards. Being able to watch the elephants for free from the balcony and follow them to the river was a definite highlight of our stay.
Finding the hotel's entrance in the darkness proved to be a challenge, as the street becomes empty after 5pm. The phone was not answered and the gate appeared closed, causing confusion.
